Turning Point in Israel Post Election?

Some days post the Israeli election time to reflect what happened.

Well known commentator Uri Avnery says

"The most dramatic and the most boring election campaign in our history has mercifully come to an end. Israel looks in the mirror and asks itself: What the hell has happened?"

Not for the first time does MPS wonder what sort of country it is when Israel so flagrently allows what can only be described as barbaric and inhuman behaviour to be undertaken by, amongst others, its IDF.
