So Much for Democratic Principles in Singapore

"Reporters Without Borders today accused the Singaporean government of placing increasing curbs on online free expression after the electoral authorities ordered the opposition Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) to withdraw a podcast from its website on Wednesday, 10 days before parliamentary elections."

It seems that our near neighbour to the East, Singapore, isn't all that keen on democratic principles or due process of law - as witnessed last year at the height of the controversy surrounding the hanging of Nguyen Tuong Van.

Not for the first time does MPS wonder what sort of country it is when Israel so flagrently allows what can only be described as barbaric and inhuman behaviour to be undertaken by, amongst others, its IDF.
