The US of A? A Wealthy Country? - with 37 Million Poor?

"Americans have always believed that hard work will bring rewards, but vast numbers now cannot meet their bills even with two or three jobs. More than one in 10 citizens live below the poverty line, and the gap between the haves and have-nots is widening".

An article in The Observer highlights that a staggering 37 million Americans are poor - even if working and possibly even in more than 1 job.

Not for the first time does MPS wonder what sort of country it is when Israel so flagrently allows what can only be described as barbaric and inhuman behaviour to be undertaken by, amongst others, its IDF.
