So, Are Men Really Necessary [or Useful?] in 2006?

"In the title of her new book, the American writer Maureen Dowd poses the question: "Are Men Necessary?" She argues men will soon be redundant due to changes in the economy and in reproductive technology.

Fair point. But surely, Ms Dowd, we still have some uses.".

Richard Glover in a tongue-in-cheek piece in the SMH lists all the uses of / for men. This could ignite a fiery debate.....Anyone out there willing to take positions for and against?

Not for the first time does MPS wonder what sort of country it is when Israel so flagrently allows what can only be described as barbaric and inhuman behaviour to be undertaken by, amongst others, its IDF.
