We have all encountered it......the person with a Blackberry who appears fixated by it by perenially turning to look at the latest email which has just arrived. BlackBerry owners don't seem to be able to help themselves.
So, this report in The Age will confirm a lot of things:
"It happens at meetings and in conversation. You see people doing it in restaurants and at the pictures.
Someone sitting there checking their BlackBerry. No doubt trying to find a life.
The BlackBerry makes a mockery of work-life balance.
A US survey shows BlackBerry owners are more likely to be chained to their work.
According to the survey, 19 per cent of BlackBerry owners claimed to work more than 50 hours a week. More than half felt they did not have enough personal time."
