Ann Coulter is well known to those who follow events in the US. She is the author of many books, some best-selling, and a commentator, in particular on Fox News. She is also very much admired by the far-right. Hence her appearance at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington the other day.
That Coulter is singularly offensive - and it says something for those who look up to her! - is demonstrated by this statement made at the Washington conference:
"I refer to him as B. Hussein Obama. He's half-white and half-black, half-Christian and half-Muslim and half-atheist. Something there for every Democrat."
Just look out for the Gerard Henderson's of this world here in Australia following Coulter down the same path. Remember Henderson has already started out on the slippery-slope by needlessly referring to Barack Obama using his middle name "Hussein".
