The Sun King [as did all his newspapers, to a man, around the world] supported the Iraq War on the basis, as Rupert asserted, that the oil price would come down to US$20 a barrel. Yesterday it hovered around the US$70 mark.

Now this on Fox TV News:

"There’s no scientific proof that global warming even exists. To be honest, it’s a bogus consensus dreamed up by Greens because they hate industry. They hate advancement. They hate technology…Greens will lead us back to the stone ages".

Are you startled? Are you amazed? Don't be - and just watch the Murdoch empire beat the same drum.

Not for the first time does MPS wonder what sort of country it is when Israel so flagrently allows what can only be described as barbaric and inhuman behaviour to be undertaken by, amongst others, its IDF.
