"The competition was tough, but today's Tone-Deaf Award goes to Arizona's GOP, which is holding a fundraising raffle. First prize: a Glock handgun, like the one used to shoot Gabrielle Giffords in the head. The raffle is in Pima County, where the shooting took place.

The raffle gun comes preloaded with three 12-round magazines. Glock USA describes the model as "a slightly reduced size of a full-size handgun for easier concealment but still retains the performance of a serious big bore."

Not for the first time does MPS wonder what sort of country it is when Israel so flagrently allows what can only be described as barbaric and inhuman behaviour to be undertaken by, amongst others, its IDF.
