Now here is a dilemma for PM Howard and Treasurer Costello - both lawyers - given their praise of Richard Pratt, owner of Visy, who earlier this week agreed to a fine of at least $36 million for collusive trading in breach of the Trade Practices Act.
It seems that Australians have a greater understanding and appreciation what justice entails - for 70% of interviewees by Roy Morgan, say that Pratt ought to be jailed. Unfortunately, he has not been charged with a criminal offence.
