Rumsfeld Meets Saddam Hussein

You probably read the title of this piece and thought - eh?

Well, Rumsie did meet with Saddam back in the 80's when the US had good relations with Iraq. In fact, 11 months after the 2 met in Baghdad, the US resumed diplomatic relations with Iraq. Remember, too, that it was the US which in the 1980's supplied chemicals [aka poison gas] to Iraq for use in its war with Iran.

Interestingly, American newspapers are evidently reluctant to publish the photo. On the other hand you can readily pick it up by doing a Google search.

Not for the first time does MPS wonder what sort of country it is when Israel so flagrently allows what can only be described as barbaric and inhuman behaviour to be undertaken by, amongst others, its IDF.
