You May Not Like Them, But You Can't Ignore Them!

"Do policymakers in Washington and Europe ever feel ashamed of their scandalous double standards? Before and since the Palestinian elections in January, they have continually insisted that Hamas comply with certain demands. They want us to recognise Israel, call off our resistance, and commit ourselves to whatever deals Israel and the Palestinian leadership reached in the past."

So writes the new Hamas Palestinian Authority PM Ismail Haniyeh in this article in The Guardian.

The world may not like Hamas, its leadership, let alone its policies, but to ignore the Palestinian-issue because the world doesn't like the new PA Government is asking for trouble. So it is more than worthwhile to read what the PA's new leader has to say.

Not for the first time does MPS wonder what sort of country it is when Israel so flagrently allows what can only be described as barbaric and inhuman behaviour to be undertaken by, amongst others, its IDF.
