Iran remains an elusive country to all but a few Westerners. Any publicity the country attracts seems to be directed to its rather too talkative President and what some would describe as his antics.
The Guardian's correspondent in Iran , Robert Tait, has just been kicked out of the country:
"Last week our Iran correspondent was expelled without explanation. In his last dispatch from Tehran, he talks about the country he grew to love and which he found to be at odds with its image as an austere Islamic nation."
